Deshler at Ithaca and Cornell

On October 4, 2019, Buddy Deshler, trumpet player in the Dallas Brass and DMA candidate at Arizona State University, presented a master class at Ithaca College and on October 6, 2019, performed the Arutunian Trumpet Concerto at Cornell University with the Cornell Wind Symphony.

Hunter, Bilger, and Prisk appointed to Peabody

The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University is pleased to announce that Mr. Billy Ray Hunter, principal trumpet of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Mr. Anthony Prisk, second trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra have been appointed to the Peabody faculty and are team-teaching all trumpet students as of Fall 2019.
