ITG has learned of the passing of trumpeter Jack Sheldon, West Coast bebop trumpet player perhaps best known for his associations with the The Merv Griffin Show and the educational music television series Schoolhouse Rock.
In Memoriam: Gordon Mathie (1924–2019)

The International Trumpet Guild has learned of the passing of Gordon Mathie, Professor Emeritus at the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York College at Potsdam. Gordon was very active in the International Trumpet Guild, where he served as its first Treasurer, then Vice President and member of the Board of Directors.

ITG has learned of the passing of William "Bill" Babcock, a World War II veteran who also was a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and NBC Orchestra.
