Art of Sound Summer Brass Institute and Festival – July 3-14 2013 in the San Francisco Bay Area of California – welcomes Tom Hooten, principal trumpet with the Los Angeles Philharmonic to our artist roster! The Art of Sound artist roster features Mark Inouye, principal trumpet with the San Francisco Symphony, and Adam Luftman, principal trumpet with the San Francisco Opera orchestra, along with Bay Brass trumpeters David Burkhart and James Dooley. Master classes, lessons, artist performances, side-by-side performances for participants with artists, fill the intensive, supportive days of this Festival. In its eleventh year, the Art of Sound Brass Institute and Festival accepts participants who are eager to burnish their skills through work with these artists, and to perform in brass ensembles and quintets.
