The Purtle Brass Conference (PbC) is for brass players and teachers of all levels, with students through professionals attending from all parts of the world. The featured artists are high profile musicians such as Philippe Schartz (Principal Trumpet with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and soloist at the BBC PROMS) and Harry Kim (seen on the Grammys, American Idol, Oprah's Final Week, and numerous world tours with artists such as Phil Collins). The social atmosphere is encouraging with time spent with artists and speakers outside the concerts and lectures. Jeff Purtle and others present on Claude Gordon's teachings and various topics to help playing technique and knowledge of the music business and life lessons to help anyone.
