Kris Kwapis master class at University of Louisville
On February 22nd, 2012 trumpeter Kris Kwapis of Indiana University’s Early Music Institute presented a baroque trumpet and cornetto master class at the University of Louisville.
Graduate students, including members of the University’s Historic Brass Ensemble, had the opportunity to perform works by G.B Viviani, J.S. Bach, and Andrea Gabrieli for the early music expert. Students who had the opportunity to play for Kwapis received instruction about the characteristic style of the baroque era under her direction.
