Jeffrey Strong to LA Phil

Jeffrey Strong has been appointed 3rd/Utility Trumpet with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. 

Prior to this appointment, he served as 2nd Trumpet with the St. Louis Symphony from 2015-2018. He had previously served as a member of the “President’s Own” United States Marine Band. A native of Fresno, California, Strong holds degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (B.M.) and Northwestern University (M.M.).  His primary teachers have included Barbara Butler, Charles Geyer, Christopher Martin, David Burkhart, and Joseph Lenigan.
