March 29, 2025 - The 2025 Southern Miss Brass Symposium brings together an all-star lineup of guest artists, USM's brass faculty and their respective studios, along with students, amateurs, and professionals on each instrument, to indulge in a day-long brass lovers' extravaganza. Guest artists for this event are Ashley Hall-Tighe (International Trumpet Soloist), Erik Ralske (Principal Horn, Metropolitan Opera), Amanda Stewart (Associate Principal Trombone, St. Louis Symphony), Hiram Diaz (International Euphonium Soloist), and Willie Clark (Retired, Air Force “Ceremonial Brass”). Registration begins at 8:00am, and the day's events include guest artist performances, master classes, and panel discussions. The symposium concludes with a concert at 7:30pm.
